Paths in the Bolle di Magadino

Thanks to the creation of educational trails, it is possible to visit this nature-conservation zone either alone or in groups, without causing too much damage or disturbing the natural flora and fauna for which it is home. The Bolle di Magadino have something to offer visitors at all seasons of the year. The ideal months for observing the bird life are April and May.

There are four entrances, including three on the territory of Magadino and one in the vicinity of Tenero-Gordola, giving visitors access to the educational trails with information boards in Italian, German and English. If you visit the Bolle di Magadino just after a period of rain or even flooding, you are strongly recommended to wear waterproof shoes or boots.
