Towards the end of the valley in Frasco is a mill used to grind cornmeal into polenta, which was a working mill up until 1950. The mill is on the itinerary of school kids on field trips and of many visitors.
Nearby is a hydroelectric power station dating back to 1920; in the past, the power station generated enough power to cover the electricity needs of the municipalities of Frasco and Sonogno.
A number of excursions depart from the town, including the theme trail.
